As a teenager growing up in Vienna, I never imagined that my mission field would be my own neighborhood. I thought missionaries were sent to jungles or deserts—somewhere far away. But then, something shifted.
I began noticing how many people around me lived without faith. Friends who had never stepped into a church. Families falling apart. Teenagers numbing their pain through distractions.
In prayer, I kept asking God, “Why is no one reaching them?”
Eventually, I heard the answer in my own heart: “Why not you?”
The European Mission Campus helped me realize that the call to mission doesn’t always mean going far—it often means going deep. Into the lives of those around us. Into the forgotten corners of our own cities.
