Our History

Our Inspiration and our roots…

We firmly believe in the power of vibrant Christian communities like those in the early Church. We are equally convinced that they will be born of a sustained, deep and intentional experience with Christ combined with the power of Holy Spirit.

In contemporary Europe, the Church’s many challenges require a new depth and impetus in evangelization. As part of this, we believe Holy Spirit is calling passionate laity to dedicate their working lives to full-time mission. Drawing inspiration from Christ’s method of investing deeply in a small group of disciples, the Campus aims to provide intensive formation for these young missionaries.

In America, those first communities were planted by European missionaries much like the apostles in the first centuries. We hope that the European Mission Campus can also offer a unique chance for American Christians to collaborate closely in the New Evangelization in Europe.

We believe the Holy Spirit is calling passionate young laity from both sides of the Atlantic to full-time mission, and our campus hopes to create powerful partnerships between American and European faith communities. This initiative is born in close connection to the John Paul II Zentrum in Vienna and the Regnum Christi spiritual family. It seeks to equip participants with the tools and experiences needed to effectively share the Gospel in today’s European context.
